Set in Pemuteran, beside the foothills of West Bali National Park, the stables carry the spirit of Bali as it once was: raw, generous, and wild. Getting here takes a bit of effort, but that’s what keeps it special.

Everything we do comes from care. The rides follow the island’s rhythm, the horses are handled with patience, and every moment builds trust and connection.

The Team
Led by Pak Taufiq, a lifelong horseman whose family has passed down their craft for generations, North Shore Stables preserves the quiet traditions of true horsemanship.
For Taufiq, horses are family, to be listened to, not commanded. His calm way of working shapes the spirit of every ride and teaches that harmony with a horse begins with humility.
Location
North Shore Stables shares its home with Milos on the Beach, a haven of calm where guests wake to the sound of waves and end their day watching light fade behind the hills. Together, they form one story, of nature, craft, and connection to place.
Set between volcanic shores and mountain ridges, this landscape offers a Bali that still breathes freely, where temple paths wind through jungle and time seems to slow with the wind.
